It's a very different situation. Last year's team was more limited talent-wise, but they'd been together for a while
and were a very cohesive unit with a great plan from the coaches. So, the hit the ground running and kept it going all the way through conference play. They were not able to handle Duquesne because they ran into a team much like we just played tonight.

This year's squad has far more high-end talent, but everybody and everything is new. Dallin is out, which is a big deal for the moment. New coach, new offensive and defensive systems (defense was the biggest problem tonight), a bunch of new players, leader on the bench - so there's a lot of work to do. The good news is that they WILL get better. By the end of the season, who knows where we'll be but the ceiling is quite high indeed. These are very good coaches, too, and if adjustments to scheme need to be made they'll be made. They'll get their rotations figured out, too.

A work in progress, but it's going to be a lot of fun to watch it unfold.
