BYU's resume is stronger, but in the end, none of this will matter.
To secure the #4 spot in the playoff BYU will need to win out (including B12 championship game). Even a single loss will put them at risk given the lack of respect consistently demonstrated this year and pretty much every year since 1984.
But all of this has nothing to do with Indiana.
BYU has to 'just win' this year... and in all future years where we are making a run. It will take years of being in the discussion to truly shift the mid-major perception that BYU (and apparently the B12) have earned over the years.
