It's a small sample size so I'll reserve some judgement, but I think his performance in the first half of the exhibition and the entire first game was about as bad as it could be. Not just his shot, shots aren't always going to fall, I get that. But he was not playing within the offense, lots of contested shots, was not involving other players, ball stopped as soon as it was in his hands. The second unit looked absolutely terrible Tuesday and I think Baker was the majority of the reason why.
The second half of the exhibition is at least a small bright spot, but that was also when the reps and rotations got a lot less serious and everyone was kind of playing street ball by the end.
