from what Judkins was providing — & Whiting gave us that. But w the exception of Daleny Gibb, I have to also admit that our recruiting overall this offseason was pretty ho-hum. (The WCC shooter also looked like a decent pickup per the film & numbers, though. She's got good size for a guard & plays physical.) But overall, it WASN'T a promising haul at all for a team that hopes to be competitive in the Big 12. Stealing Gibb from the yewts early in the offseason was HUGE, but from there it seems the yewts kicked our tails otherwise. The most promising thing coach Whiting came in with — is the sense that she was gonna make us competitive with the yewts in recruiting (like her first class did with flying colors).

As for Kendra — she woulda been a decent pickup IF we'd gotten a promising two-way big from the Portal as well. Kentra can move & put the ball on the floor surprisingly well for such a large gal, but on a good team she's not gonna give you more than 12 min per. Honestly, for the Portal age — our roster is looking way too white overall. For a team with our physical makeup, anyway. We need more girls who can MOVE. Particularly Forwards & Centers.

But yeah, the whole offensive plan last season — did NOT have a high ceiling to it at all. Though they did apparently get better later in the year — what they showed to start was NOT the formula of a staff with a clue.
