Recruit rankings are garbage. 247 even declared 10 of its 2023 5 stars busts.
That means 40% were already busts after their first year.
A CFB 5 star is supposed to be a sure 1st round draft pick. A lot of misses because so many kids are held back and already maxed out at high school.
No system using recruit ratings is credible.
