Obviously, BYU operates differently and prioritizes other things (such as ecclesiastical endorsements, service, extracurriculars, etc.) but my point is that a 36 in isolation is as meaningless as a GPA without a standardized test score.

I'd bet less than 1% of applicants with a 34 or better are rejected.

I think anything above 30 is a pretty safe bet

My niece didn't get in with a 31. Waited a year and got in.
