They were wrong, because championships, playoffs, even sports in general aren’t about who is theoretically better. It’s
about who wins. Who earns the title, seed, win.
When a team wins the superbowl, do we care or argue about whether the other team was actually “better”?
Nope. No one cares. It’s about settling it on the field.
