I think he'll be more used to Utah's standard BYU gameplan than other BYU QBs.
Lots of teams this year have been tugging on our receivers to throw off their timing, but we've still been putting up points and taking care of the ball. I think Retzlaff is more prepared for that style of defense, which KW always uses against BYU, than BYU teams in the indy years based on his experience with similar teams this year in conference.

Also, our receivers are stronger and more athletic than in the past. We still rely on timing and being assignment sound as part of our offense, but that used to be the only way we could compete against top teams because we had less athletic receivers. So a team that was really physical with our receivers would throw the timing off and our offense broke down. I don't think that's the case this season. Utah's game plan of putting their corners on an island in one-on-one coverage and basically holding our receivers all game long is not as effective against faster and stronger receivers who can still win battles with a defender draped all over them.
