Tennessee. Win over Alabama. 1 loss to Arkansas.

Indiana. Undefeated. Best win is just Nebraska.

Penn St. Best win over Illinois. 1 loss to Ohio St

Alabama. 2 losses (Vandy/Tenn) but wins over Georgia and Missouri.

Is Iowa St's resume better than any of those 4 teams? I don't personally think so. If they have a case it's actually over a Notre Dame team with 1 good win (TAMU) and a loss to NIU, but that doesn't reduce the P2 bias claim you're implying.

All that said if anyone beats an undefeated BYU in the CCG, the conference will almost certainly get 2 in. Undefeated BYU at that point would be in the top 5 and won't drop below 12 with a loss.

But a 2 loss non champion doesn't deserve a bid unless a couple of those P2 teams suffer multiple losses. (Which could happen)
