full members which is nice for football. With GCU they'll have 9 members for the other team sports. Having an odd number of teams seems disadvantageous.

9 football playing members would leave one team idle each week. Although it does get them to 8 conference games.

It seems to me like MWC should look for another full member to bring in or at least another non-football playing member.

WCC without Gonzaga can't be very enticing - unless they can get a piece of all of the NCAA tourney units that Gonzaga will be leaving behind.
