He consistently shrinks under pressure.
His postseason performances are quite weak. Not just this year.
In 2022 he raced to 61 homers, but then took something like 11 games to break Maris’ record and get to 62.
I like him and hope he figures it out, but he clearly feels and shrinks under pressure.
