Just like with the BYU football team, you can look at every single play
That went our way instead and we ended up winning. Sometimes those plays happen because of good defense and other times, BYU has just been lucky. In the case of the Dodgers, it was mostly poor plays by the Yankees but also great base runners and coaches that helped capitalize on Yankee mistakes. Without excellent plays by the Dodgers (combined with Yankee errors), the 5th inning doesn’t happen either. It was really a combination of both, but the inning should have ended at 5-0 for the Yankees.

You’re totally right that it could be a completely different series now without those few plays, or those playing out differently.

I for one, am happy to celebrate both BYU’s amazing football success this year (lucky or not), as well as the Dodgers championship!
