I'd suggest you look through the Tudor Watch lineup. Several of their watches are now METAS certified...
and they've been hitting design and model release out of the park for the last couple of years. They also don't carry the price of a Rolex or Omega but have a bit more cachet than IWC, ORIS, Hamilton, etc.
