who knows what would have happened next, but in theory if he gets lets say
the Mookie out, wouldn't he have started the 6th with Freddie single, Teoscar double, Muncy walk... 1 run in and 1st and 2nd with no outs?
And if he got one of the other defensive outs instead, Mookie would have led off the 6th with the nubber and you've got 4 straight base runners.
Now I don't think any of that actually happens, but he did allow 4 straight baserunners with only one of them being half Rizzo's fault.
