Knell struggled last year as the competition improved; my sense is that he might be more effective in a 2nd unit where he's competing against the other's team's 2nd as well. Whether he starts or not and how much playing time he gets as we move to the B12 schedule will depend entirely on how consistently he can hit contested shots in pressure situations and how he competes on the defensive end.
Fouss is the more polished offensive player between him and Keita although Keita is likely a bit more aligned with what Coach Young is looking for (rim runner, hyperathletic). I think that one will depend on the matchup and size/approach of the other team.
I know people are excited about Catchings and Demin. They are absolutely the two highest ceiling players on the team and their potential was very clear last night. That said, I believe Richie is the most polished and prepared two-way player on this team and will be key to our success this year, particularly as the competition improves.
