That's how you lose, sure. But I'm not concerned that BYU is likely to fail at
Any of those things.

1) They are +7 or something like that in turnover ratio. Retzlaff is much more secure with the ball than last year or early this year. Additionally, they have given up very few points on the turnovers that they have had. Also, Utah is -3 in turnover ratio.

While this would be a reason BYU loses, if they do, I don't see it as very likely to happen


2) last few games have shown BYU can run the ball. UCF had a good run defense going into that game and BYU practically did anything they wanted in the ground.

3) Bernard has run for 55 and 51 the last 2 games. Maybe he gets 100. I doubt the whole team goes for 150+ but that would be above the average BYU is currently giving up. And even if they do, the pass game is unlikely to be there enough to make 150 a winnable number.

4) penalties have been a non issue all year. I don't see it all of a sudden starting now
