Anyone single aspect of the offense. Watch how the pocket forms around Jake when he goes into a passing situation. Night and day different than last year where immediately on the snap a defender was in the backfield.
The solid running game and some RPO keeps the defense always guessing what's going to happen next. That little indecision that a solid running game gives the defense gives Jake that one more fraction of a second or even a full second to find a better open receiver.
Next four games will be tough but from what I have seen, we have a legit and efficient offense that can take time off the clock or score fast if needed. Retzlaff has flourished and I can see him only getting better.
