This calculation all depends on where you live in a time zone, though.
If you're on the eastern edge of a time zone you're going to want the clock shifted in a different direction than if you're on the western edge.

I say it's better to find one hour, stick to it, and then let school schedules, work hours, etc., conform to what is happening with daylight, rather than trying to monkey with it all the time.
