a 7-5 team playing an 11-1 team in the champ games if you have rigid divisions and send the winners to the CG. But having divisions with no CG is great, especially with the geography being out of control.

The Big12 should probably have west/east divisions honestly, but I also think a good idea would be to rotate divisions if it could somehow be worked out with the teams on the geographic edges.

Again, as usual, the answer is always smaller, regional conferences work best with 9 being the perfect size for having 8 conf games each year evenly split H/A but the idiots in power have blown past all that long ago.
