To my eyes, there’s been a palpable drop off in Whittingham’s “beat BYU” fire
since Bronco left and Kalani took over. Coupled with the Pac 12 obsession, I don’t think he’s gotten his team all that fired up for BYU in quite some time.
Does he have it in him to convince his team this is really the game they should care about after preaching otherwise for so long? We’ll find out in two weeks.
Thankfully BYU has enough coaches who know better than to take KW lightly in any way.
