Certainly there are things they aren't doing well on defense this season (lack of QB sacks, for example), but most teams would be happy with a D that was limiting opponents to 16.5 pts per game.


Sign stealing is not against the rules. Nobody here was complaining when we knew all of AFA's audible calls back in the day. If KWhitt was doing it within the rules and was good at it, more power to him.


I do think the inability to sign steel has affected their ability to get pressures (IE, always sending the right blitz for the right play), getting sacks, creating turnovers, etc. But it's not like their defense has fallen off a cliff. They'd be undefeated right now if they had anything resembling an offense.
