He probably enjoys watching His children perform (at the highest possible human levels) for Him on "his day". He has unlimited bandwidth so he can watch those who are meditating, etc, and those who are performing, etc. And enjoy it all. If people were taught that from an early age, they would believe it.

But instead the idea that He takes offense to it, took hold with bronze aged thinkers and has been repeated on down the generations...and since you were taught that He doesn't like it, and have had it reinforced 100+ times, you assume it's true.
