They never recovered. If I recall, the Dodgers won in 5, with far less talent then the A's. That kind of play can have a larger effect than just one W.

I'm certainly not predicting Dodgers in 5, because every opponent and circumstance is different. I still think this goes 7, because the Yankees are too talented.

But, I wouldn't be surprised if that play has an outsized effect on the rest of this series.
