... to finish their ride. This teenage girl looks at me and goes, "Oh, OH! HEEEEEY!" and jumps in front of me and flashes a shaka and then just stares at me expectantly.
I stare back, dumbfounded. At first I wonder, "I'm sitting in front of this faux Wonder Woman Grecian statue thing, does she want a picture and she's asking me to move?" I see no camera so I dismiss that idea. Then I wonder, the way she's standing, is she asking me to take a picture with her and her boyfriend? Still, no camera, I'm not holding my phone, so probably no. After what felt like forever, I said, "hey... what's up" in the weirdest, most disinterested voice.
As her enthusiasm turned to pouting, I suddenly remember, "Oh yeah, I'm wearing a BYU shirt and my new BYU hat (shoutout CapEx)" so I hurriedly apologize for being an idiot, then throw it back at her and say "Go Cougars".
It was outrageously awkward but still funny. I think you should continue doing it just for the awkwardness.
