He could certainly get away with it, but he'd have to sacrifice either $$ or situation. He can't wait that long and
then craft an ideal circumstance. The better programs will spend their NIL money elsewhere and will fill their rosters long before April. Sure, they'd make room for Dybantsa, but the money wouldn't be there (not as much, anyway). To get the bigger $$, he'd probably end up signing at a less-than-ideal program with a roster not tailored with him in mind. No matter what, he's going to make good money next year and he'll be a top pick in the 2026 draft and go on to make tens of millions of $$, and perhaps hundreds of millions $$. But if he wants the best possible college year, he'll need to commit long before April roles around.
