I was yelling at Batty all first half for crashing. Then he came out and did it a bunch in the second half. I had to ask myself. “Maybe he’s been told to crash, and someone else (LB/S) had contain but was being run out of the play?” If a S has contain on the side the offense lines up three WR, what does he do? Leave the Secondary so it’s three on two? That’s a recipe for disaster. More likely, there are conditional options for contain and the LBs weren't making the correct reads. That’s what Hans was saying.
