RE: I think you’re deciding between two great areas for families.
Those are all fantastic points.

We’ve passed through and even stayed a few times on our annual Utah trip during the summer the past several years. Some friends from BYU wound up in Saint George about 5-6 years ago and we’ve stayed with them before. They wound up in the Washington area, which isn’t where we are looking. We’re interested in the southern areas like Little Valley.

I had scheduled some PTO for this week and we decided to jump on the opportunity to head over and check it out. We were there Sunday evening through Tuesday afternoon.

It was great to go all around and look at houses and become more familiar with the residential parts (as opposed to gas stations and restaurants when passing through).

I really liked the Little Valley area over by the Red Cliffs temple. But I would agree with you on how crowded it seemed. It wasn’t much better than Murrieta in some parts.

Work is pretty solid. I’m at a SaaS company that went fully remote in 2020. My team is all over the US and some of my peers are even in Utah (neither are members though, interestingly enough). But that same thought has crossed my mind on availability of work if something changed. So that’s a great point to consider.
