From the amount of PTO, hunting gear, food, prep that goes into a hunt it’s
Cheaper to go buy a cow. And to your point it tastes a lot better.
I get the hunting aspect and being outdoors and in nature but dollar to dollar it’s not a cheap sport. And elk tastes okay, then the next year you don’t draw an elk tag and have to get a deer. Yuck 🤢
