Decided to try a TP Link product that was highly rated. It seemed to work really well but the parental controls and device/screen time management was awful compared to the Google's app... and that was even after I upgraded and paid for a one-year to link subscription to their premier parent app.

I ended up just going with the Pro and it's been working great. I got maybe 7 or 8 years out of my previous system before I started having a lot of issues like what you're going through now
