The lifestyle/typical workday would be polar opposite from being a salesman. On the job by 6 or 7 am most days.
Babysitting subcontractors. Dealing with constant changes or discrepancies in the drawings. Trying to keep the owner content as schedules push.
We're also entering a time I haven't felt since 2008 with competition. Private work is slim pickings right now.
