UK is in the recruiting as much as South Carolina is.
And that's to say, they aren't.

AJ's dad used UK and South Carolina as an hypothetical to talk about NIL.

"He said, "To give you an example, let’s say he chose South Carolina, which they have offered. They have $5 million on the table and Kentucky comes, Kentucky has $3 million. AJ wants to go to Kentucky — he’s going to Kentucky."

Sure, this is just an example, but why would he use Kentucky as the example? It may be tongue-in-cheek that he is intentionally using a school that is not on the table because he wants to ensure he isn't saying X school is offering X money. But still, it's caused a bit of a fuss. "
