I want to watch BYU games, not mingle and socialize. I don’t want to have to stop watching because my wife asks me to go find more plastic forks. I don’t want to have to stop watching so I can listen to a neighbor tell me his secret formula to keeping his grass green.

I’ll watch it with others who just want to watch. If I can’t have this, I’d prefer to just watch by myself.

Now if it’s the Super Bowl or something, give me the party, the food, the “green grass” guy, etc. I usually don’t have a rooting interest so I enjoy the other things.
