Apparently it will take effect after this season ends.
In CA, fall season ends in a few weeks and then they have tournaments and state cup. Teams will stay the same thru then and then switch.

The switch to calendar year was recent. Just in the last couple years. Switching back?

What do you mean by school year? So if a kid has been held

No, they just moved it to a different day on the calendar to try to coincide with school years.

They would move the age cutoff from December 31st to July 31st (or something like that)

A lot of good that does us now. This is our last year of club soccer

My kids are continuing club through HS. They take a 2 month break for HS, but play club the rest of the year.

Will UYSA adopt it for the 2025/2026 club season?

I'm reading that there will be a vote in November.

I hated the calendar year especially when the kids are in high school.
