interceptions thrown between Retzlaff and Ropati. Saying it was dumb play calls that led to those interceptions and that BYU should have run, run, and only run all night long. Saying if it wasn't for the game winning drive at the end, A-Rod would probably be in trouble.


Of all the games to criticize abysmal play calling by A-Rod, Friday night was not one of them. Only questionable call BYU probably regretted was the trick play because that really wasn't necessary with how much success BYU was having in moving the ball in other ways.

Aside from the interceptions, BYU's offense never looked better than they did on Friday. And Jake's interceptions had nothing to do with play calling and everything to do with Jake trying to aggressively force some things that just weren't there.

So yes, Monty and bro have had some really really dumb takes across the board lately.
