Just found out US Soccer is changing from calendar year to school year.

What do you mean by school year? So if a kid has been held

No, they just moved it to a different day on the calendar to try to coincide with school years.

They would move the age cutoff from December 31st to July 31st (or something like that)

My kids are continuing club through HS. They take a 2 month break for HS, but play club the rest of the year.

I hated the calendar year especially when the kids are in high school.
