Have your eyes checked by an eye doctor. You'll likely find that there is a small amount of prescription power that
will help you to see slightly better in the distance. Trust me on this - the old "I see fine in the distance" usually isn't as true as most people think.

Combine that prescription to be a bifocal prescription, that is what the dr will do for you. That is what will give you the best vision. Then it's your choice if you get bifocals with a visible line or without a visible line - progressive (also called "blended" or "no-line"). "Progressive" is the correct terminology for a bifocal without a line.

You'll be able to pick any frame you want rather than some heavy dorky looking over the counter glasses. You'll pay more, but you'll look good, they'll be adjusted to fit you just right and they'll be comfortable to wear all of the time —
so that you're not one of those people that slide their glasses up onto the top of their head or keep laying them around and then not having them when they need them.

Good vision is all about comfort - how you see, how you look and how they feel. Do it right to begin with.
