& twitchy defense against them with constant misdirection: motions, counters, screens, read-options, play-action and slant passes. They out-schemed BYU's defense all night.
On the trick play throw back to the QB, there were 10 BYU defenders on the left half of the field and pursuing that direction after the initial quick throw to the right. Then there were 4 OKST lineman leading a convoy with basically only Marque Collins over there being blocked by the receiver and the lineman not even finding bodies to block all the way to the endzone.
I agree that it is good to pull out a win when the defense made so many mistakes, because now they will hear all week about those mistakes and they will be a lot more focused on staying within their assignments.
I trust Jay Hill will have them ready to show a lot better this Saturday and expect them to limit UCF's rush attack and win that game.
