Yet, I saw tOSU bring on a true freshman QB and he led them to a natty. This

was Braxton Miller in 2014. He was the 4th true freshman that ever started for tOSU (Art Schlicter, Terrell Pryer, and CJ Stroud) (they did have 1 red-shirt freshman start (J.T. Barrett)).

That's just from one team, so generally, it can be done, but it is out of the normal. I know Wilson was a 4-star and I'd imagine those on tOSU's list were probably all 5-star QB's, but I'm guessing.
