What we really need (needed, bummer) was ACC to self destruct.
We needed VT and/or Cal to win against Miami.
We needed Louisville to win against Miami.
We needed Virginia to shock Clemson.
Going forward, we need ..
Florida State to pull it together for one game against the Canes!!
Louisville or Pitt or South Carolina to beat Clemson
Unfortunately, the ACC is going to have lots of teams with gaudy records but NO ranked wins. That is going to hurt come CFP selection time.
