I’ve played around with it and once it’s a 3-way tie then the head-to-head isn’t relevant. Nightmare scenario is BYU loses 1 and then Iowa state loses to k state in the last game of the season. All 3 end up 11-1 but BYU is left out because the active tiebreaker becomes conference win % of opponents played and BYU’s schedule has turned out to be much easier than those of K State and Iowa State.
