Well, it worked out very well for BYU. BYU wouldn’t have gotten the invite
if they didn’t leave. Then the PAC 12 would have collapsed and likely you would have had Utah, AZ, ASU, Colorado join the Big 12 without BYU. And possibly Oregon and Washington would have been enticed by the presence of UT and OU.
Then good chance BYU would be a part of the new PAC 12.
