that he'll be the starter (if he didn't think he'd start, he wouldn't have come - to state the obvious). If he had any shot whatsoever of making it to the NFL, this was his last chance. To not win the job and spend his final season as a backup is a tough pill to swallow. Seems like he's maintained a good attitude and is ready to help the team if/when he's called upon. Props to him.
