The differences between the freshman cap logos are much more subtle than between

letter logos. Just look at WSU and BYU. Their letter logo is cool and unique. So is the stretch Y. They look nothing like each other.

Maybe BYU's freshman cap logo is the best of the breed, I don't really care. My point is that the freshman cap logos are derivative and uninteresting.

They are incredibly different to my eye. Not subtle at all. Similar in that they both have a hat and that’s about it.
