Jake didn't see him in the EZ on first drive. Jake missed him on simple crossing
routes twice near the EZ--super easy 7 yd throws that would likely have been TDs. Darius had a drop due to the ball being punched out.
No one is perfect but Jake struggles on some of his short throws. The 2 misses on the underneath crossing routes were bad--Cam Rising level bad--but Darius did have a shot at one of them (had to come to a complete stop while crossing). As the announcers have mentioned, some of it goes back to sloppy arm mechanics.
He's still a great QB. Jake knows he missed those--he admitted as much. I'm not worried. He's getting better every week.
