Did anyone else get tired of "the sky is falling, let's not expect too much" approach, as though we're players?

Does anyone else get tired of all this "let's not get overconfident or we'll lose" attitude, as though we play the games?

We're fans. Fans as I see it are happy their team is winning, cheer on the team (and donate) to help them win more in what ways we can. We even tend to look on the bright side too much. So sue us.

I'm more in line with you in thinking this is going to be a great year in football and basketball. Sue me too.
