Stealing back an influential media personality was smart, too. BYU was too arrogant to fight for the middle ground
with people in this state — for FAR too long.
If you want to win in this world, you need to be willing to compromise with people. And realize that when you lose the battleground of the middle — ultimately you lose the power of expansion.
We were very fortunate that our isolationism & idealism didn't kill us further than they did.
