Pope's scheme is bad without a good passing big man.
I think back to the 2021 team with Haarms, Averrette, and Barcelo. Scheme worked fine until teams realized they just had to overpurse in the dribble hand offs. UCLA killed us in the tournament.
The two times Pope's scheme worked was with Yoeli and Khalifa.
