There are couple of positions where the kind of speed that has played there the last 5 years is not there this year and it shows.
Three of four of the starting defenders are either Freshman or new to starting at that position and a lack of speed that experience and skill would hide doesn't work.

I think that there are some Freshman on the team who need an off-season of conditioning to enhance their physical talents and allow them to take better advantage of the speed they have. Not everyone can be as fast as Fryer....but there is talent that can be developed through conditioning and training.
