…I think what has been missing up to now is that serious focus by coaches on the day to day, game-to-game consistency. We’ve seen Kalani teams get out to a fast start then see the team’s focus tail off as we lose embarrassing games to teams like UMass, Liberty ECU, UAB etc (and in many cases not just lose but get blown out). I think he does generally well preparing teams for g4 opponents but it’s been the g5 opponents that often trip us up.
I think KY’s all business approach to coaching men’s bball has shown the way for other programs to follow.
