Problem is the preseason top Big12 teams lost (Utah, Oklahoma State, Arizona)
If Utah or Oklahoma State and Arizona or Kansas State were undefeated right now they would be top ~7ish, its simply because the teams expected to be the top dogs are not, so Iowa State and BYU are playing from behind.
BYU went from unranked to 22 to 17 to 14, thats a lot of respect fairly big jumps 3 weeks in a row, and we are closer to #8 than we are to #14 in votes
